In cooperation with the San Francisco Arab Film Festival, this year's Interfilm Festival shows short films from Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Lebanon, and Palestine. At times humorous, at times relentlessly direct, the program offers a view of Arab culture that addresses prevailing stereotypes and the current situation in the region as well as everyday themes of family life, jealousy, prejudice, and identity.
