In “Cappuccetto Rosso”, Maria Tura, Poland’s greatest actress, loses her magic while rehearsing “The Nazischickse”. It was her only chance to get happiness. And money. And she asks herself: “But I don’t have to deal with bourgeois crap like inspiration and all that, do I now?” This Prater production belongs to the series “Heterosexuality, Representation, Middle Class … and Everything Else That Is Not Yet Considered To Be A Problem”. It is also about representation theatre, that form of theatre in which social conflicts are represented and reduced to their exhibition value, but cannot be processed.
